Adega X Jaket

On the evening of 25 October, Restaurante Adega opens its doors to Madeira for a four-hand dinner that brings together the finest of Portuguese cuisine with the authentic flavours of the island. Chef Alexandre Cabral, resident at Adega, welcomes Chef Júlio Pereira, of the legendary Jaket Restaurant in Funchal - recently reopened and celebrated for its distinctive reinterpretation of Madeiran culinary tradition.

A Culinary Voyage

Ocean, the culinary crown jewel of Vila Vita Parc, was distinguished with what few restaurants ever dream of—three "Soles" or Suns from the prestigious Repsol Guide, adding to its two Michelin stars. Since 2007, Executive Chef Hans Neuner has transformed Ocean into a canvas where Portuguese culinary heritage meets global inspiration. His team crafts conceptual menus exploring Portugal's rich historical connections with regions across Asia, Africa, and America.

A Butcher's Tale

We've long seen an increase in our guests' awareness of the farm-to-fork story. Today, people care about where their meat comes from and how the animals were treated. Inspired by this, Vila Vita introduced a true farm-to-fork philosophy to its butcher shop at the Biergarten in Porches.

A taste of the region

The Algarve is known for world famous beaches and prestigious golf courses, but it is often forgotten that it is also home to a fantastic food heritage. With outstanding local produce from the farm as well as the sea, the Algarve has reinvented itself as a true foodie destination. Bringing together the past and the present, our local producers represent the best the region has to offer.
